Triple Crown is small planned community developed between 1996-1999 by Centex. It is located just south of Desert Ridge, the Loop 101, and the Reach 11 recreational area, and just east of Tatum.
Triple Crown was formerly a large horse ranch, so the community entrance is marked by three beautiful, bronze horses. As you drive down the main street of Triple Crown, you immediately feel the warmth of the community. The finely manicured landscaping, community parks, abundant green grass, play equipment, vollyball courts, basketball courts, walking paths, and benches all make for an inviting community.
Triple Crown is made of four different neighborhoods: Preakness, Churchill Downs, Del Mar, and Belmont. Price ranges will run between $400,000 - $900,000 with an average sales price of $560,000. Belmont is the most unique neighborhood within the community as it offers a private, gated entrance and has a community pool. The homes in Belmont tend to be smaller and reside on smaller parcels.
Paradise Valley School District 69, specifically Copper Canyon Elementary, Explorer Middle School, and Pinnacle High School are the home schools for Triple Crown. Copper Canyon is within walking distance, while Explorer and Pinnacle High School are far enough to require a school bus.
