Desert Ridge is a master planned community which began to develop in late 1998 and is still progressing today.
JW Marriott, one of the largest luxury resorts, housing over 925 guest rooms, offering a full spa and access to Wildfire golf course, is a major attraction to this master planned community. Desert Ridge Town Center is the place to be for entertainment and shopping. Desert Ridge Town Center is home to big department stores such as Kohls, Target, and JoAnn's, name brand stores such as Limited Two, Pac Sun, and Hollister, and a vast variety of reserturants, including the Yard House, Mimi's Cafe, and Rock Bottom. The Town Center also provides for every-day needs by offering a grocery store, car wash, gas station, and a bank.
Desert Ridge is made up of a variety of neighborhoods. Stonecrest at Desert Ridge was developed by Engle Homes and Diamond Key. Leroux Springs was develped by M/I Homes. Glen Eagle was developed by Morrison Homes. Sierra Pass at Desert Ridge was developed by Richmond American Homes. Geoffrey Edmunds built out Ironwood Greens. Lockwood Estates was built out by a variety of custom home builders. Fiesta at Desert Ridge was built out by Trend Homes. Wildcat Ridge was developed by Continental. Other builders within the community include Elliott, Shea, and UDC. More recent neighborhood developments have been Aviano, by Toll Brothers, and Fireside, by DelWebb. Single family home prices will be between $300 - $1,500,000.
Desert Ridge is also provides a variety of condominiums. Toll Brothers in Aviano has a variety to consider. Toscana by Statsman is one of the more visiable landmarks offering multi-family housing.
Desert Ridge is managed by Rossmar and Grahm. City North is a another planned community currently under construction just to the east of Desert Ridge. Bloomingdales and Nordstroms will be anchor stores in this community. With shopping and resturants align the streets, condminiums will be located above the store fronts.
